Dell sets the bar with their latest Venue 8 7000 Tablet

As the first tablet to make it to market with Intel’s Real Sense 3D camera technology, Dell has set a good benchmark for others to follow.

The design is sleek and has a high quality feel.   At just 6mm thick it comes in as thinner than the Ipad Air 2.  In fact it is the world’s thinnest tablet, but with a sturdy construction it doesn’t feel flimsy.

he Real Sense 3D technology allows for post image processing.  This allows for such things as adjusting the focal depth of a photo after the photo has been taken. Using the Dell Gallery App will also allow for adjusting brightness of selective parts of your images.  The Gallery app also features image folder integration with Dropbox, Picasa and Facebook.

Dell describe their Venue 8 7000 as “One of the most exciting and innovative devices Dell has ever produced”.  It seems others agree, as they have just been awarded the prestigious 2015 CES “Best of Innovation” award.

Other features include a stunning 8.4”  2560 x 1600 OLED display,  Intel Quad core Atom processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB eMMC storage, a Micro-SD card reader supporting up to 512 GB, and a front facing speaker.

This all adds up to a very worthy product to introduce the new Real Sense 3D technology, and we look forward to seeing who might better it.
